Sustainability
Norrviva manufactures wallpapers in Sweden from non-woven material comprising synthetic fibres and paper pulp. It's a combination that makes the material durable and easy to mount on walls.
The synthetic fibres are derived from recycled material, including plastic bottles, while the pulp comes from FSC-certified forests.
The wallpapers' colours and coating are water-soluble. They are completely free of PVC, heavy metals and other environmentally hazardous substances.
Water is the only solvent used at the factory. We reuse any residue dyes and incinerate production waste to produce energy. The energy used during production is carbon offset.
The nonwoven material complies with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Certification (certifying no harmful substances in the product) and the European Fire Classification EN 13501.
This combination of sustainable materials ensures that our product is eco-friendly, non-toxic, and safe for your family and the environment.
